Our commitment

yourKEYtoIT is a product of Brigade Management, Inc. We build software for teams whose work has consequences, and we believe the people using it — and evaluating it — should be able to do so regardless of how they browse. We treat accessibility as part of doing the job properly, not as an add-on.

The standard we build to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means:

• Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and page landmarks
• A “skip to content” link and full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator
• Text and interface colors that meet AA contrast ratios
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images marked as such
• Labeled form fields and clear, text-based error messages
• Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” setting, which turns off the site’s scroll animations
• Layouts that reflow and remain usable when zoomed or viewed on a small screen

How we test it

We assess this site ourselves rather than through a third party. Testing combines automated checks — every page is scanned against the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA rule sets using the axe accessibility engine — with keyboard walkthroughs and checks across current browsers. To be clear about what that is and is not: it is a self-assessment, not an independent audit or certification, and automated tools cannot catch every issue.

Known limitations

We would rather name the gaps than imply there are none:

• The site has not been through a formal audit by an accessibility specialist, and we do not hold an accessibility certification.
• It has not yet been tested end to end with every screen reader and assistive technology. If you use one and hit a barrier, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
• The signed-in yourKEYtoIT application is a separate product from this marketing site and is being brought to the same standard on its own track.

Please include the page and a short description of what happened, and we will reply from a real person. We aim to respond within five business days, and where we cannot fix something quickly we will offer another way to get you the information.

We review this statement as the site changes and update the date above. It is an honest description of where we are, and we would rather improve it in response to real feedback than leave it as a formality.
